Local community, including marginalised women and migrants, young people, unemployed people. These aim to be connected with European opportunities, including organisations, donors, entrepreneurs and institutions.
We are currently working on the renewed role and governance model of libraries in remote and rural areas of Basilicata, the repositioning of the village of Maratea for smart and remote workers, as well as the recovery of an old tradition tied to the production of plant ropes (the “libbani”) that disappeared since the sixties. We are in the process of creating a cooperative called Nuova Libbaneria Mediterranea which is recovering the production, developing a line of handcrafted objects, as well as a line of contemporary design products and an offer of touristic experiences.
